The wet start to the UK summer and uncertainty surrounding Brexit has led to the sharpest decline in footfall in retail since February 2014, according to new research. Data compiled by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Springboard indicated that footfall was down by 2.8% year-on-year for the five weeks to 2 July this year.
