Last week's retail conference in London focused on the huge shift occurring in consumer behaviour and how it is impacting the requirements for retail space in Europe. Conference speakers stressed that multi-channel retailing is and will have a profound effect on how retailers determine their property requirements and the type of stock required, although quite what shape that will take remains difficult to quantify.
