Local authorities in the UK should be prepared to provide urban, brownfield land at no cost to kickstart retail regeneration in the country's smaller towns, according to a UK developer. Speaking at a morning conference on retail growth run by the BCSC in London last week, Queensbury managing diretor Paul Sargent said that it was the only way many schemes would be commercially viable.
