Irish supermarket chain Superquinn was bought out of receivership by rival Musgrave this morning, just a day after the receiver was appointed by a group of banks owed euro400m. The rapid turnaround follows a tumultuous 24 hours for one of Ireland’s best-loved retail names as the countries economic woes continue to decimate the retail sector.
