Chinese and Asian consumers are helping to drive sales growth in European designer outlets as they seek bargains on European holidays. Luxury and designer brands have particularly benefitted from the appetite from Asian shoppers for luxury goods, which are often prohibitively expensive in their home countries because of import duties.
