UK-based grocer Tesco is expected to focus growth on its smaller stores amid a multi-channel push which will create a rival distribution system to online powerhouse Amazon. Amid results revealed tomorrow, Tesco will outline its attempt to take on Amazon Market Place in a move which will start with a UK strategy to concentrate on growing its smaller store estate as a base for national click-and-collect services.
