UK department store group Debenhams has said that it will pursue a mix of online growth in mature markets with store openings through franchise in emerging markets. The company said that a strategy called endless aisle would help it to deliver an omni-channel presence across markets and that it would also consider franchising its e-commerce offer outside the core European markets.
