The store strategy for UK retailer Home Retail have been thrown into further question after better-than-expected results from general retailer Argos were boosted by its omni-channel performance. Despite continuing insistence on the importance of its store base, it seems inevitable that Argos will reduce its reliance on its real estate portfolio to boost investment in its omni-channel activities.
