The retail landscape has changed dramatically and retailers must remodel their businesses as omni-channel companies, according to Kingfisher CEO Ian Cheshire. Speaking at the opening plenary of day two of the World Retail Congress in Paris last week, Cheshire said the model for retail is fundamentally in change and reflected: “You have to rethink your model as an omni-channel retailer, to work with a set of consumers who will work differently. In an always-on world you have to break some of the rules.”
