Andy Hood is Head of Emerging Technologies at AKQA. He founded and leads the Creative Research & Development team, which specializes in rapid design and development of new digital products and services for clients, and in demonstrating how new technologies can be applied to solve business and consumer problems.
Andy was a key figure in the development of the Fiat Eco:Drive connected-car system that drives behavior change around fuel consumption, the Heineken Star Player live dual-screen Champions League game and the Nissan IDx virtual reality experience for Oculus Rift at the 2013 Tokyo Motorshow.
Andy was featured in AdWeek as one of the ‘Top Ten Creative Minds’ in Digital. He frequently presents at influential global events such as 2nd Screen Summit at CES, Dmexco and the Guardian’s Changing Advertising Summit.
