Julija Bainiaksina holds MEng Civil Engineering degree from University College of London, her background is system engineering, statistical modelling, data analytics. Julija founded an award winning knitwear company 5 years ago and was involved in retail industry since then. Coming from a technical background and taking creative approach to solve the problems, Julija’s believes that fast fashion is not the way forward and that the real time data analysis and technologies could help to improve the retail models and supply chains by making them more efficient. Therefore, the main idea behind the new venture- The Dandy Lab- is to reinvent retail models using innovative technologies and looking into ways how to implement Internet of Everything in retail.
