Philip Evans joined TriGranit Management Corporation (TGM) in December 2011 with a mandate to internationalize the Hungary based company. Philip’s role is to introduce best practice and standardization of operational procedures, he is specifically responsible for asset management, leasing, marketing, facilities management and finance. In 2012, he restructured the organization and took TGM into two new markets and won significant new third party mandates. Now TGM has a mixed portfolio valued in excess of €3bn spread across 14 countries on three continents.
With more than 30 years of leasing and asset management experience, Philip has held a number of strategic positions. Before joining TGM, Philip worked for Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE) in Dubai and during this time, he was primarily responsible for directing a strategic approach to the commercial and retail leasing for three Festival Centre mall projects in Dubai, Cairo and Doha Festival City, totalling 7.5 million sq. ft. gross leasable area (GLA). He joined Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate (AFGRE) in early 2008 as Director of Retail Leasing and was later promoted as Director for all Commercial & Retail activities, encompassing mall operation, leasing and marketing. Prior to AFGRE, he was a Partner with global real estate consultants, Cushman & Wakefield.
His experience spans a variety of markets including Middle East, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Russia, Central Europe, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria Caucasus Region and latterly China. He has also been a main board member of the British Council of Shopping Centre (BCSC) and Vice Chairman of the Hellenic Committee of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).
