Joel is best known as Founder & Chief Executive of Longshot Limited and alongside his partner, Ollie Vigors, they have built up a company that develops a wide range of Property & Leisure businesses across central London. These have included Vingt Quatre – London's first and only 24 hour restaurant, the iconic media business The Groucho Club & The Third Space – the Health Club which incorporates an Organic Supermarket and London's largest Integrated Centre of Medicine – as well as being voted the Number 1 Health Club in the World in 2001.
Today Longshot includes a variety of Leisure & Property businesses, including a group of Country Inns called Bel & The Dragon. In 2011, they acquired the former home of the Beaverbrook Family, where they are planning a World Class Golf Course and Boutique Hotel. Most recently Longshot secured the UK rights for KidZania, which is one of the most successful Businesses in Mexico and one of the fastest growing Education & Entertainment Companies in the World…

Joel also has various personal Investments and serves on the Board or Advisory Board of Save Money Cut Carbon, GDR Creative Intelligence, Sipsmith Independent Distillers & Chameleon Communications. Joel is also committed to philanthropic work, most notably as a Trustee & Chairman of The Royal Parks Foundation, from 2004-15. He is also a Patron of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
